CONCEPT:
This podcast is an audio and conversational exploration of duality, the push and pull between optimism and cynicism, kindness and cruelty, hope and despair. It examines how we relate to ourselves, to others, and to the world around us through the lens of contrast. Inspired by philosophy, lived experience, and emotional truth, Optimism Cynicism holds space for contradiction, as well as honesty.
The intro of the podcast (melancholic and synth-based) is music created by me, and it mirrors the emotional depth of each episode. The visuals feature zoomed in microscopic views of living organisms, as a reminder to how much detail and beauty lie beneath the surface of what we think we understand.
